The Past 5 Months

A brief wrap up of the past 5 months.....whew! That feels better. Updating the blog just kept getting bigger and bigger and bigger. So just a quick recap of what we have been up to. Enjoy!

Riley earned Golden Scholar her 8th grade year. Here she is with Principal Reiny and a fine lookin' medal

She was also inducted into the National Junior Honor Society.

She had a fun season of spring softball. Playing left field, 2nd base, and even catcher a couple of games.

Dominick participated in his last Pinewood Derby. Alas, we are unable to manufacture a winning car.

This years model was a WII remote. I don't know why this block of wood didn't win??? Perhaps because it was just that.....a block of wood. Not so aerodynamic!

This was a nice before picture of what Dominick's hair had become. He would not cut it for anything! Oh, but wait......how about I get you a cell phone a year early???...

That did the trick:)

We had a fun Easter celebration complete with bunny cakes

Dominick participated in a Civil War reinactment at school.

Dominick aslo completed the necessary requirments to earn his Arrow of Light

A fun little Mother's Day celebration with my babies

Dominick celebrated his 11th Bday at Jump Street

Riley celebrated her 14th Bday in the back yard with her closest friends

We stopped in Vegas on our way to SLC this summer. We found these Johnny Depp characters (minus Beetlejuice) so it was a perfect picture opportunity.

We did all the usuals....Park City and

Lagoon

We were lucky enough to be in town to attend Makenna's baptism:)

Oh, and we found the Little White Chapel in Vegas and Riley insisted that we stop for a picture because this is the chapel where Ross and Rachel get married on the Friends episode. STOP THE CAR!!!!!!!!!
